Eagle Quest provides a wide variety of services to the youth that are a part of our program. As a part of our foster homes, youth participate in a great number
of activities, including weekend and week-long camping trips, high-adventure
activities, and sponsored trips to different events and activities
throughout the area. Through community-based activities, the youth
are introduced to social skills that will prove essential to their success
later in life. Whether it's a trip to one of the local parks, bowling
night, sporting events, or volunteering at a local charity, Eagle Quest
foster homes provide the means for youth to grow as individuals, as well as responsible members of the community.
In addition to social activities hosted by Eagle Quest and the foster parents, many of our youth receive additional, more individualized services. These services include basic skills services, psycho-social rehabilitative services, day treatment services, and other services that are part of a rehabilitative plan uniquely created for each individual youth. These services are provided by the foster parents, as well as trained Eagle Quest staff who regularly visit each home to work with each child one-on-one.
Some of the skills that are actively developed in each child through
individualized training, community/social activities, and adventure
programs include:
